To me.... Art and creating is a form of meditation, it grounds you. When you look at a painting, it allows you to feel the energy of the environment.
Sometimes placing yourself there for a brief moment in time.
I have many artists who influence my style. I love many forms and mediums. I’ve dabbled in poured paints, realism, abstract, ink and watercolor, oil, acrylic.
I seem to keep being drawn back to watercolor. There is something about not always being in charge of the outcome, you can do things with watercolor that you can’t do in other mediums. Almost like a working partnership with a paint.
